The garden

Så här långt har jag kommit med trädgården! Det är enormt tidsödande att göra blommor, men jag har bestämt mig för att det skall vara massor så det är bara att jobba på!

This is how far I have come in the garden - flowermaking is really time-consuming, but
I have decided that there will be lots of flowers so I just keep on working!

Detta skall bli Kejsarkronor när det är klart - roliga blommor!

I don´t know the English word for these flowers but I think they are funny!

Jag beställde marktegel från England men det tycks ha kommit bort i posten. Det är
andra paketet på bara några månader som kommit bort - frustrerande. Så
till helgen får jag klippa äggkartong!

I ordered tiles/bricks (I am not sure of the right word) from the U K , but they seem to
have disappeared somewhere on their way to Sweden . If so, it will be the second
parcel from the UK that I lost in the last months - very frustrating! So this
weekend I will be cutting eggcartons!

Men det är ok att klippa äggkartoner tror jag - kan nog behöva en liten
paus från blomstertillverkning :)

But maybe it will be good for me to rest a little from the flowermaking :)

  4. Oh my. Your flowers are so very real looking. A break is well deserved for you. You do really nice work. The name for the flowers you referenced is "Crown Imperial" and the deer don't like them so they are used sometimes to protect other flowers from the deer. I love those flowers in miniature and in real life. What a great post!

  14. I love this. I can almost hear the birds! Crown Imperials are bulbs and are also called Fritillarias. They don't have a very pleasant smell (like wet fur!) but they are lovely to look at.

  15. I can not believe that you have the patience to make so many flowers! But the results are absolutely worth the effort. I looks great!

  16. Thank you all of you! It´s so nice to have
all these encouraging comments, and now I
know the english name of "Kejsarkrona" Crown
Imperials - it sounds nice too. I know they
smell bad, but in my garden they don´t - in
fact the whole garden smells very good - of
coffee - which is what I used för the flower-
beds! I still have much more flowers to do
and the brickwork and some other items - so
    the work will continue..
