Something different

Ibland när jag behöver ta en paus från mitt franska hus så har jag roat mig med

att göra hattar och väskor, och här är sommarens skörd. Så nästa projekt

måste nog bli en hatt-och väskaffär!

Sometimes when I need a break from my french house I like to have some fun

with some smaller projects, so this is what I have made during the summer -

a whole lot of hats and bags. So I guess my next project will have to be a

hat-shop!

In my fourth folder I keep all my funny cards, and surprisingly often they are

about dogs. I am glad that the fourth photo was this one - since I have worse

photos, believe it or not! If I am not mistaking Sylvia has a Shar-pei so a special

greeting to you Sylvia. You have already had the challenge though, so I pass it

Wicker chair

Jag håller fortfarande på med vinden på min franska blomsterbutik och nu är

det sovrummet som håller på att inredas. Det här är den lilla mysvrån . Jag

har gjort en korgstol och virkat en duk och gjort en "riktig" stickning med

miniatyrstickor. Det var första gången jag stickat i miniatyr och det var

kul - stickorna är som stora synålar!

I am still working on the attic of my french countrystyle house, and this is

part of the bedroom. I made a wicker chair and a crochet tabletop and

a real knitting in the basket. It was my first knitting in miniature and it

was fun!

The French House

Hej Jag har inte bloggat så mycket på sista tiden, men jag har inte varit overksam, så här kommer lite bilder på fortsättningen på mitt franska hus . I haven´t been blogging so much lately, but I have been working on my miniatures, and here are som pics of the progress I have made on my french house

Jag har delat upp vinden i två delar - en del till sovrummet och en del till en uteterass. Bakom terassen finns ett litet köksutrymme som man bara kan se delvis.

The attic has been divided into two parts, one is the bedroom and one is the terrace. Behind the terrace is a small kitchen but it can only be seen partly.

Här är spiraltrappan upp från våning två där antikvitetsavdelningen finns.

These are the stairs from the second floor where the antiquities are.

Och här är trappräcket uppe på vindsvåningen.

And this is the opening for the stairs on the attic.

Jag gjorde ett pärldraperi till köksöppningen. Det är gjort av ett halsband eller två.

Drickaflaskorna har jag köpt i en webbutik och växterna är gjorda av printies

a wire-bed

Nu har jag gjort en säng av ståltråd. Överkastet är en gammal duk från

second-hand. Kuddarna är broderade i 34 rest 40-trådig silk-gauze och

var pilliga att göra. Jag gjorde dem för ett tag sedan, och har väntat

på någon plats där de kan passa in, men jag vet inte om det är här --

kanske ändrar jag på det.

English: I made a bed of papercovered wire for the attic room. The bedspread

is actually a table-cloth from the second- hand store, and the pillows ( or is it cushions -

I am not sure of the english word) I made a while ago. They are embroydered in

34 and 40-count silk-gauze. I needed both my glasses and a magnifier for that work!

I have been trying to find the right place for them

and maybe it´s here - I am not sure yet.

Flowershop finished

Nu har jag äntligen blivit klar med min blomsterbutik och allt är fastlimmat så att

jag skall sluta flytta runt allting. Antikvitetsavdelningen är också klar och nu

skall jag upp på vinden och göra en liten bostad till husets ägare.

Finally I finished the flowershop, and the antiquity-department is also finished.

I glued evertything to its right place so that I won´t be able to move everything

around all the time - I never seem to stop doing that! Now I am moving to the

attic where the owner has her small apartment.

Awards

I have got two awards today - one from Julianna and one from Sabiha - thank you both, how kind of you! I really have some serious problems with this software tonight, so I will pass on the awards later! I give up on this! There are too many nice blogs out there and I don´t want too pick just a few, and you all have had it at least once I think, so these two awards I pass on to everyone of you!

Super Petals

Jag köpte de här "super petals" från http://www.fineflowersinminiature.com/ De är gjorda i något slags tunnt nylontyg och laserritade på underlaget. Det är bara att dra loss dem. Jag tyckte färgen var lite för blek så jag har färgat dem lite mörkare grönt. English: I bought these "super petals" from http://www.fineflowersinminiature.com/ They are lasercuts and the material seems to be some kind of nylontissue. I painted them because I thought the colour was a little bit too pale. Här har jag provat och bara stuckit ner dem i en kruka. This is how they look in a flowerpot

Så här blev det när de fick flytta upp till antikvitetsavdelningen i min franska miljö.

Jag tycker de är ganska fina men jag borde kanske ha gjort färgen ännu mörkare.

And this is the final result - I think they look quite good, but maybe I should have

given them a darker green colour.

hat straw

Jag har provat på hattstrå på sista tiden och det här är resultatet av mina vedermödor! Jag behöver träna lite mer men det var kul ändå. English: I have been practicing on hat-straw lately, and this is the result of my efforts. Obviously I need some more practice but it was fun anyway.

Lite mer bilder på helgens nöjen: jag har byggt klar balkongen på övervåningen

som skall bli antikvitetsavdelningen och så har jag gjort en ny trådstol och

ett balkongräcke m m - nu skall golvet stöttas upp med träbalkar o s v.
